Abstract

The data in this study have been collected and analysized the statistics relevent to accidents in industries from the "LABOR WHITE PAPER (1982-1990) " published by the Ministry of Labor, Korea.
1. Health and safety devices should be originally secured in installation of dangerous machinery and appliance.
2. Small or medium sized industries and construction companies should be supported positively of recognizable turnover of management, enlargement of investment by firm and government, activation of preventive movement and fullequipment of health and safety systems for the industrial accident prevention.
3. Occupational disease should be prevented by improvment of workplace, fixation of health program.
4. Activities for accident-free should be driven voluntarily by the enterpriser and his workmen. Various regulations and policies must be performed effectively.
5. Try to improve the safety and health conditions with the production methods from a rationalization or automatization.
Management, supervisors, designer, safety and health manager and laborer etc. should stay together in a mutual teamwork using every chance to prevent from accidents and to improve from workplaces.
